The POTW is not about blowing out your opponent...we've already discussed this...it's really all about defense...and who shut who down the most for the week...All of us are probably capabale of putting up 60 points...but most of us play with sportsmanship...I know when I'm up by 2 or 3 touchdowns...I normally just kill it on the ground to run some clock...I hate when I'm losing by like 3 score...and the dude just relentlessly keeps trying to run the score up higher...to each their own...but that is why the POTW award was designed the way it was...it's to award those who play a good game and shut their opponents down...not by running the score up. Blaine congrats on the blowout...I'm sure you played a damn good game...but next time try and not let your opponent score above 7 or so...that is normally the key to winning the POTW...the only time score comes into play is when there is a tie for who allowed the fewest points...then your blowout would totally put you on top...this league is all about promoting good sportsmanship.
