Sleepless in Seattle

It was another dreary, grey, rainy morning in Seattle but this morning seemed surprisingly more depressing than usual. Even my Starbucks coffee tasted bland after I figured out what was going on at qwest field. The cities beloved Seahawks who have been rolling of late fired their owner due to fraud (cheesing) and the NFL's commissioner and fellow owners chasing him away.The Seahawks then hired an almost unknown new owner to take over one of the leagues best teams. Fans were in an uproar knowing that their team chemistry was about to change for better or more likely, for worse. Within 24 hours of the new owner taking over he completed four trades involving fan favorites such as jerious Norwood, Thomas Howard, and Bernard berrian.

Pete carrol said " I know the team has under gone changes with our new owner but I still expect the main group of core players to continue to play as they have been doing all year".

Fans around Seattle have been astounded at the actions of the team. One fan stated " this guy is an idiot, we have a group of players that have gotten the team to 8-2 and he thinks he can take the team and change it to how it pleases him, I know this Dufus will be on a segment of cm'on man after he blows our season!"

Fortunatly the players seemed delighted to be under new ownership and excited to try a new game plan and welcome in great players such as Ryan Clady and Leon Washington.

It looks like a new start for our beloved Seahawks, with a new strategy, new players, and an overall new face for the franchise. I just hope that this decision won't leave us all sleepless in Seattle.
