HTML/CSS help!!!!

Does anyone know anything about this kind of stuff? I spent about 2 1/2 hrs learning about it today on a tutorial website...but beyond the basics I was pretty much out of my league. I'm not very internet savy. I'm trying to get my xtreme-madden league's homepage (pictured here CFL league) To look like this guys (pictured here Dokken's league) with a couple changes. I already spoke with the owner, and he gave me permission to copy his league pages source info...but I still don't know how to change a few things. If anyone has the know-how and is willing to help out I'd appreciate it.

I'm pretty fluent in HTML, but not so much CSS.
But I can offer to help in any way.

wow that guys page is sick, i can just make stuff look pretty...no clue on the coding of it all. but if you ever need banners, pics, or vid caps i can help out.

Seriously. You should see some of these other leagues. I tried copying his source info...but it displays his stats, POTW, etc. I can't figure out how to get it to display mine. If I just knew what to change in the code I'd be set.

I forgot everything I knew about code.. I leaned that stuff in high school, but no one pays attention in high school...lol

Hahah, I have like general computer knowledge...but when it comes to the internet I'm pretty much an idiot beyond knowing how to type in a web address. It took me like 3 hours to learn how to format the forums here..and that's basic stuff

I did however talk to the guy and he said he might be able to help me change it up.
