New Router is up and running for me!

Hey guys, I know a ton of you have complained and been pissed that I have been kicked out of games, and potentially making u lose the game in a sim game, and I am sorry. Just got a new router so we really shouldn't have any more problems. Got the best of the best type of router, so we're all good, no more problems

As a suggestion...don't use a router period. If at all possible, plug your PS3 directly into your modem. Going through a router just slows the connection. No matter how good your router is, the connection speed is always faster when directly plugged into the modem.

If you have decent broadband and you hardwire into the router instead of going wireless, you should be fine. Just make sure you open the ports to the IP address of the PS3, preferably by declaring it a DMZ server. After the last patch, wireless connections are horrible, wired seem to be ok except when connecting to CPU games for some reason.

yea ur right, wired to the router seems fine as of right now, the old router from '06 sucked, i could never connect to the franchise server, but the new one works great, even wired
