Defensive Rookie of the Year Award - Voting

Riley tied for 1st among all rookies in interceptions, as well as tied for 2nd with all rookies in sacks, and 2nd for all rookies in Tackles.

Eric was tied for 1st in interceptions with all rookies, and was 3rd in total tackles between all rookies.

Brandon led all rookies with 53 Tackles. He also contributed across the board, pulling in 2 interceptions, 2 sacks and 1 forced fumble.

Hughes led all rookies with 8 sacks on the year. Not only did he lead all rookies, but his sack ties him for 6th in the league overall. Combined with his forced fumble and tackles figures, he wrecked havoc all season.

Patrick was tied for all rookies for first in interceptions with other candidates Eric Berry & Perry Riley. He also was a force of the defense racking up 36 tackles to come in 4th for all rookies. Despite all that work, he found time to force a fumble and get a sack. Robinson contributed all over the field as a rookie.

I voted for Riley as he was just a monster everywhere, as well as Hughes as his sack total is impressive for a Rook. Any time you are in the top 10 in sacks in your rookie campaign, it deserves to be noticed.
