NEW LEAGUE

Just trying something new. First of all, if you think you already have too many leagues and dont have much time, this league really wont take much time out of you. (just drafts and playoffs)

Ok, so here's the deal, I will be simulating all regular season games. If you make the playoffs, you can play those. This league will basically have more of a GENERAL MANAGER feeling to it. We will be able to see who can actually assemble the best team together and getting all speed players won't really matter much. Choosing your TEAM, will be more strategic this way because it matters if that team plays 3-4 or 4-3, or passes more than runs the ball (patriots vs. ravens) etc etc.

Another thing, we can actually get through all 10 seasons! (hopefully) since we can advance several times a day.

I'm not looking to get 32 players, because if we are simulating games, it doesn't really matter if there are CPU teams.

Draft will be tomorrow Feb 9th at 9:30 pm eastern time. Let me know if you are interested. We already have 8 confirmed members.

is it a cpu draft? i'd do it if so i just don't got time to draft a whole nother team but its a cool idea.

nah, user draft. but you can let the cpu draft for you if yo u wanted right? just make your top 5 picks then leave?

been a hectic few days...

I was interested in helping the MG out and running a new league for new members...

but it didnt generate any interest....

as it is...alot of the older leagues are falling apart and losing internet.

Might have to wait until Madden 12

the reason some leagues fall apart is because of 'cheesers', or that some teams have ALL SPEED, or maybe the leagues arent advancing quick enough.

This league is almost impossible for cheesers becaues we wont be playing the games until playoffs. speed wont matter much here. and we will be advancing VERY quickly.

i really like this idea..dont kno if alot of ppl will but i do like it.

yea, only a small amount of people, but those people really love the idea! which is good, we wont have dropouts...

by the way, I will also try to do MVP, or offensive and defensive players of the year at the end of each season.

how u gonna do the sims...u jus gonna do the advancement...once a day all at 1 time or what?

not sure yet. but first day, I will sim until week 5 (before the trade deadline). then the next day I can sim to the playoffs.

If u sim a week then transfer commish to someone else and he sims and passes it back to u and u sim.. works without 30min wait

Or i can just exit the game, sign out of PSN and get on madden again...it works like that too. So we can get through one season in 2 days maybe!! Thats pushing it, but possible

that might be pushing it lol but a week is good.

We're getting ready to start a league like this in my other league, but only 1 advance per day and not playing any games, including playoffs. We're also waiting until this weekend to do it so we can do it with the most updated rosters.
