draft date as per DW request

DW asked me to set up this poll to get some feedback on to when we should have our rookie draft... vote accordingly -

i know i have had asked guys to be "substitute" draftees for players who couldnt attend a rookie draft in other LGs - this is always an option i u cant attend a draft - paticularily if you have traded away draft pics - as you are still responsible for making sure your trading partner gets the selection he desires even if u cant attend the draft...

I voted Sunday because the sooner the better as far as I'm concerned. Monday works fine too though.

And I'm pretty sure Shlarman could draft if somebody needs him too, I could use my other psn name too and draft on my cpu too.

I voted Monday, because I think I'll be busy Sunday night...but not 100% sure. I also traded my 1st and 2nd rd picks I believe, I'd probably need Shlarman to draft for me if possible

i have dominators 2nd rnd and im pretty sure he works nights both days so someone would have to draft for him

thats a big help - there is no way any date that we choose will beacceptable for 32 guys - so there is no doubt we will need substitute drafters...

even if u havent traded away pics - the draft board is sometimes hit and miss - you could give a substitute drafter a priority list of player you like - and positions to look to draft for - and h may do a better job than a draft board...

I can make either one, I voted Monday just because it's an hour later and the later in the eveneing it is the better for me as my g/f will be in bed.

I voted Monday but can also do Sunday but I get off work 30 min before the draft starts so will be pushin bein ontime

I personally want the draft to be on Monday...but that is just because this weekend is gonna be hectic with my mom's 60th birthday and what not. But I wanted Greener to make this poll while I was at work today to see which date you guys preferred.

So far it's 50/50. If a tie happens...the draft will be on Monday.

I think the feedback so far is, people who voted Sunday can also do Monday, so why not just make it Monday if it's easier for you, DW? I think we'd all agree that with all the hard work you do, you are certainly entitled to skew a draft day vote to fit your needs better.

Because part of me...doesn't want to lose another day. I hate when the offseason lands on the weekend.

I can't promise that...that's only 31 hours for week 1...that caused a huge shit storm in Cheddah's league last week. But I hear what you're saying about getting the ball rolling. I would draft Saturday morning if we could. But being that I'm the only one up on Saturday morning half the time...that won't work. I do want to get things moving ASAP though.

I meant to propose this before. I say when webdo rookie draft we all just play our games right after and advance. BAM week 2 just like that. But I think we could definitely advance by Wednesday morning even drafting Monday night. I know I'm Lookin forward to Gettin the ball rolling on season 5 Aka the Year of the Bayou!
