46 Inside blitz

i see more and more guys running this blitz. It is a Nano and can be set up many different way to get A or B gap pressure really easy. here are a few ways i found in 3 minutes im sure there are many more.

all of these plays get great pass rush in a shotgun formation but when the qb is undercenter it get super retarded you can barely get a 3 step drop off

those all require adjustments to make them nanos.

If you run the 46 inside blitz with 0 adjustments it still gets quick pressure if the offense doesn't do anything, but I don't understand how a blitz straight out of a playbook, with 0 adjustments, would be a nano. Wouldn't EA have heard about this and patched it by now, if they really had built a nano straight into one of their playbooks?

When i watch the videos... Especially the 3rd one... How would that be considered non sim? If you pinch line or left a hb in to block that, it is easily picked up. I do know when a team is under center, this play is tougher to block than shotgun but the same can be said about 90% of the blitzes on the game.

leaving a rb to block wont help when under center and pinching the line will just cause both of the DEs to come in free combine that with pressing the wrs and you can't get a play off from under center its nearly impossible and there are dozens of blitz combinations that will let guys come in free through the A and B gap

Add that to alot of guys run 46 or show blitz on most plays its impossible to read the blitz you would just have to pinch the line everyplay guessing it was a inside blitz

I love me some CP, but man are nanos not no-no's? I thought I read something about nanos being taboo in the sim rules. Is that incorrect?

nanos aren't sim travo . If you look at almost any sim franchises even outside the MG the 2 biggest rules are no nanos or RC's

I kno crenshawboi from madden-school.com...I worked with him on some offensive ebooks. He is known for creating blitzes like that. I've stopped using the 46 defense to blitz for the most part man. I went to MS (madden-school) and saw the same blitz but a lil different and was like aw naw...can't do dat shit no more. I get great pressure specially when their under center but their adjustments are different. I don't have to move any players. I run 46 and run cover 3 to stop the run.

yeah the inside blitz has so many variants alot of the A and B gap pressure plays can be had by just moving the dline around

Yes, I've been using the 46 defense since madden added it to the game. I've actually taught a handful of guys in these franchises about the 46 inside blitz. I have to agree with Surf, if you don't move your line at all...you can still get an amazing amount of pressure on the QB using that blitz. I only use it in certain situations...I never use it if my opponent is in shotgun because you will get burned deep and over the middle.

A lot of ppl don't want to go max protect. I go max protect sometimes even if my opponent isn't blitzing. 6 man pressures make u block guys and line shift. Players don't and want to cry nano because some1 comes free. Well look at the numbers 6v5 sometimes 7v5 or 7v6 caus if u block the hb sometimes the play assigned to him will blitz if ur not controlling him

This is the defense I used anywhere from 3 to 8 times a game But I never adjusted any players ever. I would let the computer do the work. The ONE time I beat C_P he cried up a hurricane storm about me nano'ing and accusing me of doing something with me DE which I never did.

Also MANY player killed this blitz for TD ALL the time I had to use it only on special occasions. Glad to see you guys have lost your fire about complaining about everything!

i tried this play against my last opp 2 times..Both times were instant sacks so i backed off and didn't run it

Atleast one guy see it thanks coward. yes you can max protect but thats only in the shotgun. If you are under center the blitz gets there 2 quick you dont get to drop back far enough for the rb to pick up the blitz

i have a video showing a guy doing it. it was 3rd and inches i planning to throw it to the fb in the flats the blitz came so fast i couldn't get a pass off to the fb i would show the blitz but i don't want to put the guy out there
