PSN Downtime

PSN will be down from 9AM til 7PM today, in case anyone was wondering. PACIFIC TIME.

yeah im not sure what they're doin, hopefully not breakin anything. i dont home til around 530 or so but that sucks for guys who are off durin the day.

Could be the super FW patch. They have been working on something to kill the ps3s out there that have been moded, or it could be the hamster that runs the server died and they need to hold a funeral and get a replacement from petco. With Sony you never really know.

Must have just come back up because I tried to log on 15 mins ago.

i am surprised sony did this after their big game release and not before - they are usually a company tha manipulates circumstances such as this to their advantage in any way - clearly not the case with release yesterday or some1 giot screwed up at SONY and is getting fired because of it right now!

I think it is actually back up for real now btw. And they sent out a message with it; "John the hamster did a very good job this year, but his ticker just could not handle it any longer. RIP John. You will be missed."
