Prediction for draft

I will say

1. Panthers take Cam (terrible pick)
2. Broncos take Von Miller
3. Bills take Marcell Darues
4. Bengals take AJ Green
5. Pats take Robert Quinn via trade with Cards
6. Browns take Julio Jones
7. SF 49ers take Blaine Gibbert
8. Titans take Nick Farley
9. Cowboys take Patrick Peterson
10. Redskins take Aldon Smith

i think that the cowboys will take prince..doubt the 3rd best player falls to #9

So excited about Locker, especially that they had the balls to take him over Gabbert! I would have wanted him even if the Titans had the #1 pick. Never been this happy after a draft pick.

I think the Panthers set their franchise back like 10 years. Firstly, I thought before the draft that Cam's success in the league would be a toss up. Firstly he needed to go to the right system. He needed a team that already had weapons on O, a decent to above average D, and a good QB coach. The panthers don't have any of those. On top of that, they have so many other holes that needed to be filled with game changers, and they drafted Clausen last year. I thought they should've taken a Defensive player, and then shot for Andrew Luck next year...he's better than all the QBs in this draft anyway.

So now, Newton is gonna suck this year, everyone's gonna shit on him and criticize him. Their still gonna have the holes they have in their team, and there's always the strong possibility that he's really a scumbag and gets into trouble. Nice one Carolina.

I agree that this isn't a pretty landing spot for cam...they will have to start from scratch with the offense and they don't have any playmakers on offense besides the running game. Their o line is only good moving forward. Their defense is ok I would say bout as good as my cowboys or denver. They could use some playmakers in the secondary. I think if ppl wanted to pay that price to go up to #1 they woulda moved but their hands were somewhat tied to this pick. They will go 0-6 in that division and possibly another top 3 pick. Poor cam he will get used to losing with this team and hopefully this doesn't ruin him.

i think if josh freeman can make something happen with what he had to work with in tampa, newton can (if he IS any good) make it work in carolina. agreed that his only target is steve smith and a non existent D with a new coach, but i still think its very similar to tampas situations just a couple years ago. plus, now he can get paid to play legally which should be a little less stressful.
