ELO`s rating system used in FOOTBALL!

Below is a wikipedia article detailing how they use ELO`s ranking system to Mens football (granted its not the football we are thiking of - its soccer! lol) - but for what we do in Madden its ideal...

What i like best about the system is that it considers:
- quality of opponenent - IUf you beat the hioghest rated player - it will have a bigger impact on your ranking than if you bveat the lowest rated player...
- Score differentials are nopt a basis in its calculation - thefore the incentive to run the score up unnecessarily on opponbents is elliminated...
