Top 20 QBs in Online Franchise Empty Top 20 QBs in Online Franchise

Derek Adams (myleaguemanager.net) - analyzed the stats of all the players who had synced data to their site and was able to draw these conclusions

It never ceases to amaze me how realistically Madden simulates the actual NFL. If a group of experts sat down and mapped out the top talented QBs in the NFL, I think their list would match up pretty close to what leagueManager statistics say. The below list is Tier 1 and Tier 2 quarterbacks in Madden Online Franchise based on statistics alone (does not take in to account win/loss ratio) synced by the leagueManager community. Some say that a high 70's - low 80's rated QB can bring your team success in Madden, however I think that this statistical evidence will show that an elite QB can have a huge impact on the success of your team.

Without further ado, here is your list of the top quarterbacks in Madden 11 Online Franchise based on community statistics synced with leagueManager.

1. Peyton Manning
99.5 QB Rating
272,648 completions
418,065 attempts
3,579,173 Yards
30,823 TDs
17,872 INTs
1.72 INT/TD Ratio Analysis: Peyton Manning. Was there ever any doubt? Peyton has been the #1 statistical QB in the league for most of his career. It is no surprise to see him at the top of this list. With a real life QB rating of 94.9, I think this sits pretty on par with what we would expect in Madden. Manning is rated 99 overall for a reason, and he is gonna last for the life of most online franchises. No one better to sit at the top of this list.

2. Aaron Rodgers
95.6 QB Rating
256,460 completions
408,540 attempts
3,466,382 Yards
29,774 TDs
18,540 INTs
1.62 INT/TD Ratio Analysis: Super bowl MVP and right up there in the top 3 QBs in the league. Not a surprise to see Rodgers at the #2 spot in Online Franchise QBs. With a real NFL career QB Rating of 98.4, Rodgers has actually faired a bit worse in Madden however this can easily be attributed to a stretch out career of statistics. He had a 101.2 QB Rating last season in the NFL and that has surely inflated his career stats and it is expected he could finish with a number on par with what we see in Madden. He is sitting right where he belongs on this list.

3. Drew Brees
100.0 QB Rating
263,258 completions
403,883 attempts
3,446,382 Yards
29,517 TDs
16,653 INTs
1.77 INT/TD Ratio Analysis: Mr. Drew Brees. With a career QB Rating of 98.4, he too matches up very closely to his Madden statistics. The only player on the list to reach a 3 digit QB rating, Brees explimfies what you want in a Madden QB. Unrivaled accuracy, arm strength, and mobility, Brees continues the trend of QBs in Madden matching their Madden profiles.
