Just to clarify something. So basically the award is given to the person who runs the score up the most? No offense to anyone, I just don't see the point in adding a reason for people to score the most they can as a competition.

nah, its basically who has the best point spread. nobody tries to run scores up in this franchise, we all have enough respect for each other that it doesn't turn into that. believe me, if i wanted to score more than 53 vs surf i probably could've but he just had a bad game...and i basically ran 3 run plays and punted the entire 2nd half. only scored cause nate clemonts was an int monster. i like the awards, specially when my goal each week is pitching shutouts.

this award is awarded to the player who allows the least amount of points...the spread plays a role when two players hold the opp to identical scores....how would u present it? JDB

JDB...I don't understand your beef bro. The award is a great thing to have in this franchise. It basically rewards the person who played the best overall game each week...you get the award for allowing the fewest points and having the best scoring differential. So it's not about running the score up. Any of us can do that. It's about shutting down your opponents offense and not allowing them to score...which is what football is all about...defense wins championships...you can't argue with history. Just look at the NFL the past 30 years...defense has always dominated...now of course...you have to have a decent offense as well...but that is where the points differential comes into play. It is not given to a player who wins against the CPU...it is only given to a player who performs the best against another live opponent in this league.
