ELo rating will be RESET for Maddne 13

With a new Madden season upon us - its only fair that ELO rating be reset!!! WQe all will start with even ratings!!!

Because of this - it will take a while for the ratings to work-themwselevs-out... I will only post players that have a minimum 5 games played - therefore it will be over a week before we even have our initial 32 players in the rankings...

In addition because we are keeping the leagues down to managable vloume - we will make this years ratings A TOP 50 - plus that will make it more of an accomplishment to reach the top 50 - It wuill be a priviledge to be even ranked!

best thing about our rating system is that its NOT SUBJECTIVE - its based exclusively on wins and losses...

In addition, it considers quality of opponent - if you beat a high rated opponent opponent you will get more points then if you beat a low rated opponent - conversely if you lose to a high rated opponent you wont lose as many points then if you lose to a low rated opponent - NO OTHER RANKING SYSTEM CAPTURES THIS!

The other thing is that the score in the game has nothing to do with your ranking - therefore there is zero incentive to run the score up on your opponent - many other system consider points for and againts - and that gives incentive for players to score as many points as possible vs weaker teams - this doesnt sit well with our PS3MG ideals - and i am glad its not part of the equation in our ranking system...
