How to Live Stream your Madden games!

Lives streaming madden games is easy - we have referenced a YouTube video that gives a step by step instruction on how to do this (so been the least "tach savvy" players will be able to follow these instructions!)

A few things you want to keep in mind about streaming:


1) Make sure you have the upload speed to live stream!

From what I have seen in a Madden (and investigated) you need at least 3 MBPS UPLOAD SPEED to live stream effectively! There is no sense live streaming your game if it causes lag!

So before you try to live stream press your PS BUTTON - go to SETTINGS - then to NETWORK - then to TEST INTERNET CONNECTION!
- make sure that the internet connection is the same as when you plan to stream; Obviously if your roommate is streaming porn on his PC while your streaming that will degrade your signal!


2) The first time you live stream TEST out the process!

- initially when you fist live stream there is a few extra steps (you have to set up a twitch account or open your existing and give ps4 access to it)
- do this a few times BEFORE your actually live streaming a game - this makes you more familiar with the process;


3) Use MEDIUM or even LOW quality streaming setting!

- we are not streaming games to win academy awards in cinematography! (I honestly see very ill difference between high and low quality when streaming madden anyways) - however streaming higher quality requires more bandwidth so unless your certain you have the connection speed to support it, you may as well use a lower quality setting!


4) if you notice unexplained lag creeping into your gameplay STOP BRODCASTING!

- having a lag free game is always the priority over streaming - so if you think that streaming is causing lag push the share button and click STOP BRODCASTING

How to stream on ps4:

Make sure you announce on the league chats and to the commish that you are streaming and what your TWITCH user name is (this makes finding your streamed video easier)

We want to be able to promote when each other streams - I will try to send out league wide messages when key games are being streamed!

I always received lag when I streamed - after looking into it I think it was because my upload speed was around 1 MBPS... I called my ISP and asked about an upgrade - and because I had an old plan I was able to get an upgrade up to +3 MBPS and double my download speed AND MY BILL WAS $6 A MONTH LESS!!!

So naturally I started streaming my games about a week ago (when my Internet was upgraded) - I have streamed two so far without issue - I hope that fixes the problem and I can continue to stream my games!

I know you have been able to steam your games successfully since Madden 15 started - how come you do not stream your games? (There has only been couple examples of when you have streamed games and there have been times you have outright refused!)

What is your apprehension to streaming your games? (You asked me - only fair I ask you!)

Lol. Idk. Doesn't seem necessary to stream a regular season game. The one time I refused I was 16-0. I didn't want my game plan being seen. I lost anyway by 3 to a clock killer, but I'm sure he got no sanction.

He got no sanction BECAUSE YOU PROVIDE NO PROOF!

Maybe if you would have streamed the game, you could have archived the footage and QUIT gm in last minute - IF YOU HAD THE CONFIRMED PROOF YOU WOULD HAVE GOT A CPU GM!

but when you complain after the fact - with zero proof, then it's meaningless complaint! I cannot " play favorites" - if you want sanction I need proof - THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE STANDARD EVEN FOR ME! Weasel cheated me but because I messed up recording the transgression I had to take him cheating me - even though I am the decision maker and saw it with my own eyes!

If I hold this standard for myself (which obviosly I witness all my games when I play them - but still require reproduced game footage as proof) - everyone else needs to do the same as well!

You need REPRODUCED PROOF that I can view! No reason not to provide it's a simple DOUBLE CLICK to provide!

Bottom line - NO VIDEO EVIDENCE AS PROOF, THEN NO SANCTION! If I am held to that standard so is everyone else!
