Bills 16 - Ravens 31, Game Recap

New Bills Owner Fr8Train took his team up against the Baltimore Ravens this morning.

The first quarter was very much a defensive battle, with neither team moving the ball well at all. Quite a few three and outs, as both teams were stopping the run, as well as defending the pass, the holes were few and far between. The Ravens managed to squeak out a Field goal from 45 yards out (into a 16 mph headwind btw), which was impressive.

On Buffalo's next position in the 2nd quarter, they started finding their rhythm and moved down the field, but stalled in the red zone and had to settle for a 32 yard Field Goal to tie things up. During this drive, Josh Freeman actually scrambled for his coach. This would be the first time Fr8Train had ever witnessed his QB scramble, as he likes to stay in the pocket. The blitz came from the outside, Freeman read it perfectly and took off in the opposite direction for a 23 yard scamper, the longest running gain of the day for the Bills, also, the only time he scrambled all game.

The Ravens weren't content to keep the game tied, and decided to take a shot on their very first play after regaining possession. BOOM! Chad Henne finds Santonio Holmes on a streak route, for a 77 Yard TD reception. The usually inaccurate Chad Henne overcame the 16 mph winds, and put one perfectly into Holmes hands who had beaten the press and left the cornerback in his dust. Raven's now up 14-3.

Buffalo manages yet another drive down the field, but again stalled in the red zone, and having to settle for a 23 yard FG. Fr8Train was heard grumbling in his owners box, "Damn that kavorka2 guy's defense in the redzone is killing us! We have to stop settling for Field Goals, and why the hell can't Mendenhall get any kind of rushing attack?"

Unfortunately that would be the theme for the Bills all day as they settled for a third short in the 3rd quarter, this time a 19 yard FG. Buffalo just couldn't find a rhythm, or consistency. Despite the score being 31-16, this game felt like it a 21-20, with only a few big plays (Holmes 77 yard TD, and Foster's 63 yd TD run) that stood out.

Fr8Train held a brief meeting with reporters after the game, and all he said were, "Changes are going to be made, and I can confirm Freeman is going to go to the highest bidder", then he paused, "by this Sunday."

Also being waived around are Rashard Mendenhall, and we'll field offers for other players.

The Bills hope to rebound against the Chiefs....

Im far from lonely my friend, i am very busy with my 5 franchises that i manage. Just figured i would drop in and see how my bills were doing ol. I will play you anytime bud in a lobby game with all league rules. Just wana prove how i win and play sim...Have you actually watch the videos?? Its a laugh that i was booted from this league but not the league it actually happened in. Sounds like a personal problem to me but i thought me and cheddah were cool so i duno. Ace I got no problems with you on a personal level bro. However, I thought it was complete disrespect that I warned you literally two days earlier that you had complaints about rule breaking and here you go pulling that kind of stuff in a game. Vista's league, my league, and all the other leagues here are run by the same rules. One thing that I am about is playing by the rules. I may not agree with all of them, but they ARE the rules so I expect everyone in my league to adhere to them. So whether or not you break them in a game in my league doesn't mean anything to me. Secondly, this league is my league, if other commissioners wanna let rule breaking slide, that's their decision. I won't. Especially when there's blatant video evidence that it happened. Especially when it's a guy who's been in the group longer than me who should know the rules by now.

All that being said, if you would have came on and said, "my bad, I got a little ridiculous there" or explained logically why you played like that...I'd have probably let you keep your team. But you came on a pretty much called Delmas a baby for wanting people to play by the rules. That was the exact behavior you displayed when another player called you out, which I didn't mind because they didn't have proof and it was he said she said.

Now you're coming back on my league's forums and making fun of the new owner who didn't do anything to you? It's not his fault you broke rules and got booted from the franchise. It's not his fault you spent all that time building this team and then ruined it for yourself. So what's the animosity towards him? What's that say about you bro? Why would you do something like that at all?

I've really got no problems with you personally either. But I think it was a very bitch move to come here and say anything, especially after you were booted for constant rule breaking complaints (one supported by evidence). That taints any of your wins as far as I'm concerned.

I'm sure we'll face each other in another league, and I look forward to the game. You may kick my ass, or you may find yourself looking up at the stars after I run you over. We'll see....

My problem is thaty i get cheezed on all the time and never bitch about it bro. I play by the rule 99% of the time and i didnt think roling out of the pocket like i did was agianst the rules. I never hiked the ball and ran right after hike, i looked for a reciever and no one was open so i would scramble to find someone open. Thats the only reason why i was pissed about it. The guy told me GG and everything after the game so i didnt think anything of it. Next thing i know there is a whole page of shit writtin about me and it pissed me off. I beat him fair and square. 2 of the play didnt even gain yards and the one where i bomb the ball is legit as hell.. idk guys i think i was Fucked to be quite honest with you.

Ace. Come on. Look at those replays. Are you really going to tell me that you think those replays show you scrambling in a legitimate manner? At most, the longest time you stayed in the pocket out of all those replays is 2 seconds. And that's being generous. In most of them you took off instantly. One of them you took off, spun around and threw a bomb. On top of that, there was a 2 man rush in all of them, so you should have been in the pocket LONGER than usual before you took off.

Also the "I get cheezed on so I can cheeze people" excuse is lame bro. That's such a gradeschool way of looking at things. If you get cheezed you should hold that player accountable and let your commish know. That's how rules get enforced. Not cheeze the other guy. Just like you were taught in middle school...it's usually the guy who throws the second punch that gets caught.
