Bengals Week 4 (vs DEN_24's Lions) Empty Bengals Week 4 (vs DEN_24's Lions)

The Lions came to town ready to play in a heavy downpour, but the Bengals walked away with a 45-6 win. The defense gave up more than 200 yards for the first time all season but they still managed to come away with 3 picks, 2 sacks, and only allow 6 points. Rookie FS Vintize Thompson had 2 picks including a pick 6, and they were putting pressure on Sanchez to make quick throws all day. The real story of the game was newly acquired running back Parker Boates, who had 229 rushing yards and 5 TDs on only 13 attempts, his long runs really took the pressure off rookie QB Nile Turner, and forced the Lions to abandon their power running game with AP, which played right into the hands of the defense.
