Can you see Rex Ryan saying 'Wait, Sanchez just got hurt, we need to restart the game after he drinks this magic potion to mend his broken ribs'. I mean it's about as far from sim as you can get.
No...but I can see the Jet's opponents not showing up for a game and the Jets being awarded a forfeit victory...where no one gets hurt...which is what a CPU gm is supposed to be.
+1, completely agree.
We are in these leagues to play other people, not other teams. We each have a team of players to work with, but it's a 1 on 1 battle. If the other person can't show up to the game for whatever reason, they forfeit, and the person who does show up should get a free win.

No phantom, a CPU is not like a team being given a less than capable assitant coach to run it. NFL teams can be competitve with interim coaches. That's what happens when coaches get fired mid season. Hell, some interim coaches get their teams to play better than the original head coach (see Minnesota Vikings). A CPU game is like the other team not showing up...or a high school team showing up in there place. It's not competitive at all...and is a guaranteed win.

well clearly some people are restarting games when they have injuries and others are not - i am going to stop taking my CPU gm injuries if even 1 person restarts a CPU game because of an injury (while super siming or not) - the bottom line you cant tell why some1 is restarting - and there will be some of us who are honest about and there will be some that are not... so i will have to change my policy - if there is going to be no rule and pepe are so cavalier about CPU restarts- i will do what every1 else does and super sim the game til i get a win without injuries - and i feel a lil cheated that I accpeted injuries in the past when others have not - its not fair at all...

Have you been reading what people have written? Almost everyone who has replied and said they restart games has said they do it for 1 of 2 reasons: either 1) they tried to supersim the game because they didn't want to waste time playing the cpu, or 2) their opponent had suffered a major injury to a key player.

I think GREENERR has a point. It assumes the worst in people, but it is still a good point. We've also learned that people will take advantage of poorly written rules, so you can't just trust people to accept injuries if you let them super-sim and restart.
I could also see some a-hole simming not just to avoid their own injuries, but to make sure the other team GETS injured.
I think the rule should be this:
CPU games are to be treated as forfeits. A player may restart the game in order to ensure a win. In the event that there is a restart of a CPU game (regardless of the reason) it is the responsibility of the player to ensure that there are NO serious injuries suffered by the opposing (CPU) team. A serious injury is one that lasts more than 2 weeks.
