LINE ADJUSTMENTS (off tackles, counters, tosses & passing protection vs the blitz) Empty LINE ADJUSTMENTS (off tackles, counters, tosses & passing protection vs the blitz)

all this is based just off my experience, it doesn't ALWAYS work or get you huge gains but it DOES seem to consistently yield 2 - 3 yards more per carry and open up better lanes for the potential big play.

on the runs, the first thing i recognize is the position of the DT in relation to my center. if he's directly in front of him such as a 34 scheme i usually always go aggressive with my oline. if its a 4 man front such as the 43 or 46 i'll shift to the side the run is going...whether it be an iso, off tackle, or toss.

for the passing part, its really about sliding the protection towards the overload with the back blocking the weak side. if it appears to be an inside blitz, i pinch. an outside blitz or even just a spread line i'll put my assignment to aggressive. there are more descriptions in the video...

Great Video FF
I do pretty much all of that, with the exception of I pinch the line on the counters, forcing the ends away from the play. I get about the same result.

Awesome, loving these videos.
(anything to avoid losing to CP 70-18 again......and no, he wasn't running up the score, I always tell people to keep the hammer down, makes me learn).

ps. Yes, I'm still stewing CP......lol

Nice video, but what is the Defensive counter to these adjustments. Are there any? I didn't use line adjustments on run plays cause there was a concern that it was a glitch.
