Top 10 QBs in Rookie draft class #1
Derek Adams (myleaguemanager.net) - analyzed the stats of all the players who had synced data to their site and was able to draw these conclusions
In this series of Stick Skill Statistics we are gonna take a look at the QB talent from online franchise draft class #1 and how they have faired in comparison with each other based on synced leagueManager statistics.
The top 4 guys in this draft class are the only guys that really could be considered starters for your online franchise and I think the data backs that up.
85 OVERALL 1. Jamarcus Austin
92.2 QB Rating
133,525 completions
224,788 attempts
1,975,383 Yards
16,957 TDs
12,451 INTs
1.36 INT/TD Ratio Analysis: Jamarcus Austin has mobility, a cannon arm and a great deep ball. He is everything that everyone hoped Jamarcus Russell would have been.
78 OVERALL 2. Chris Robinson
90.8 QB Rating
110,683 completions
183,325 attempts
1,538,284 Yards
12,733 TDs
9,603 INTs
1.33 INT/TD Ratio Analysis: Mr. Consistancy turned out a good Madden career. A very good 90.8 QB rating made him a worthy consideration in most online drafts and most likely fell in the late first round.
74 OVERALL 3. Brandon Gonzalez
85.5 QB Rating
42,531 completions
71,101 attempts
516,794 Yards
3,906 TDs
3,458 INTs
1.12 INT/TD Ratio

The real story is the lack of good players per draft. I've known really good players to tank a season for a chance at a decent QB etc.
