User Picks 101

Lets talk user picks. There is actually quite a bit that goes into this skill in Madden. Many factors ranging from in game player, user ability, awareness, and the cohanas to take a risk all matter at being succseful in this trade. User picking can be somewhat of a beautiful art form. Some clame to be the best in all the land, some clame to have none. What we here at the Madden Bible want to do is shed some light on how we like to do this!

First, there a few things that will accel our learning curve. The most important part of getting high numbers of user picks is picking a in game player to “user control.” User control means you define the actions of the character in the game, you tell him to speed burst, you tell him to jump, and you tell him to hit stick. We do not let the CPU decide how this player will react on the field. There are a few ratings in the game and player characteristics which make ideal situations for us. See below:

Speed-93 and above is ideal

Jump-95 and above is ideal

Catch-60-65 is ideal, anything above is a luxery

Height-6’3 is the ideal PERFECT height

Now you can certainly have success with none of the above ratings but they certainly help. On to the strategy.
