Week 7 Power Rankings
14th Edition of the VIP power rankings. The thing that separates our league from all the others is these power rankings, game of the week, and all your activity. I apologize for being 3 weeks behind but i will be catching back up. For all of you that have chosen to stay in league and not drop to join new league thank you. But lets try and get or other members on this site and maybe start writing a team news paper yourself. But lets get into these power rankings as we now only have one undefeated team and they will now be the #1 seed. The Philadelphia Eagles take of this spot with dominance.
+4 1) Philadelphia Eagles 6-0 Mos3ttikid23. The Eagles had one of the most dominating performances this season has seen. A 51-0 victory over the division rival New York Giants. The Giants coach had this to say after the game " We failed on all levels today. No excuses. We should have scored at least once. It will be a better game next time." The Giants were held to 111 total yards as the Eagles went off for 261 total yards with 210 yards on the ground. Watch out for RB C.Johnson and ROLB V.Miller. These guys are on a roll.
(--) 2) Seattle Seahawks 6-1 Greennerrr The Seahawks hold on to the #2 spot this week even though they suffered an upset loss to the Dallas Cowboys 17-6. As the Seahawks have the 2nd best record in VIP they are still a major threat to come out the NFC. The Seahawks should have won this game but with a pick thrown in the end zone and one thrown late in the 4th quarter, all hope was lost in this one. But week 8 they will be looking for revenge
(--) 3)Houston Texans 5-1 Scottie6moe. As the Texans faced off vs a CPU controlled Cincinnati Bengals there win comes with a * as they won 49-3. But in the future you will need to watch out for this former #1 team as RB D.McFadden and MLB B.Cushing are leading this team strong.
+3 4) San Diego Chargers 5-1 Weasel__. Another team that had a big division win this week was the San Diego Chargers. As quoted last edition of the power rankings "Watch out for the bolts". The Chargers had a 41-14 Victory as they dominated both sides of the ball. The Chargers had 411 total yards as QB T.Brady managed the game as he always does and newly acquired RB M.Forte had 12 carries for 158 yards and 3 Tds
-4 5) Green Bay Packers 5-1 Grim-X-Reefer. After loosing week 6 to a game winning field goal by the Kansas City Chiefs the packers had a bye week for week 7. With some rest and some more planning the recent #1 team hopes to dominate again thru the rest of the season and finish at the top of the rankings
(--) 6) Minnesota Vikings 4-2 RIPxPattillman40. A very very familiar face to the power rankings, the Vikings finally get back onto the power rankings. After beating the Chicago Bears in week 7 the Vikings show they are a team to be reckoned with. With a 46-28 win QB K.Kolb seems to becoming off the high of being the Super Bowl champ and going back to his normal, dominating ways of controlling this high powered offense.
(--) 7) Miami Dolphins 4-2-1 iShitonPPL03. The Dolphins had a 31-17* win over the cpu controlled Buffalo Bills The Dolphins had a rough start but seem to be coming into their own as the season moves on. Watch out for this team do not under estimate this teams record
(--) 8 ) Carolina Panthers 4-2 Wolvie19. My pick as the upset team of the year, the Panthers are playing some great football! With a bye week this week the Panthers but probably wont slid off in the games to come as they have a very easy schedule this season.
(--) 9) Denver Broncos 4-2 CT2384. A bye week in week 7 but an awesome upset win over the Tennessee Titans. With 3 teams in the AFC West in the top 10 the Broncos show with some luck and some skill you may be able to win the division and be a repeat division champ.
(--) 10) It happened again... A three way tie for the final spot in the top 10. The Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, and St Louis Rams hold the #10 spot. All have shown they can win under pressure and all have a 4-3 record. They should be a little better and hope to go on a win streak after the second half of the season.
-2 Oakland Raiders lost to a game winning field goal vs the Detroit Lions
-6 Arizona Cardinals Even though making a 14-3 come back in the 4th quarter the Cards lost 38-41 to the rams
(--) St Louis Rams They beat the cardinals 38-41 as they are a new comer to the top 10
