Madden Game PS3 Update/Patch

Does anyone know what this patch/update I'm downloading this morning entitles?

Not sure how accurate but found this

* Fixing a bug to allow friend invites to ranked games
* Generally making pass defense more effective
* Reducing number of broken tackles
* Fixing user blitz exploit(s)
* Tuning injuries
* Tuning CPU & GameFlow play-calling logic
* Improving play action blocking
* Improving kick return blocking
* Improving online connectivity issues with kick meter lag, media streaming, etc.
* Random stability improvements
* Miscellaneous gameplay balancing

Rui, I think that might be the info from the last patch, I think I remember hearing about those items for the last one. Not sure though. I'm about to go online and play a ranked game. I'll let everyone know if I see any differences in play action, tackling, and I'll try a few IOR's too...provided I let my opponent score

The all-pro kick meter moves like the pro kick meter now

Idk if play action blocking is better or if...wait it's not

Pass D is still horrible

and Darren mCfadden literally just broke 5 tackles (3 from LBs for a 47yd run)

LOL at your patch reports...sounds like ea fumbles the ball again. oh well, i figured after what they did with the pathing of stratpad there was no way they could adjust sliders, thats just too complicated for them. damn i had my hopes up for some better d awareness and pass blocking. maybe next year...

Just finshed the first one...had 2 KRTD's with desean using the IOR, also torched em for 162 rec yds with desean, 112 with celek, and 63 with maclin, not to mention 82 yds on the ground between vick and shady. Doesn't look like anything was done to improve defensive AI at all. Oh and I was 1 for 4 on playactions, using them in play action situations while he was 4 of 5 using them in crazy long yardage situations...I read somewhere that the team that made this year's madden is the same one that made FIFA. Judging by their knowledge of the game, that makes a hell of a lot of sense

actually they brought in the guy who used to make the NBA JAM games to help with production...hence the arcade-like feel. i read in the maddenforums that the kick meter is ridiculously slow, wtf is that supposed to be, a fix? "somethings broken, someones complaining that the game needs improved in (x) area...lets just dumb it down and make it easier." damn i really hope 2k can get up on this licensing deal in a couple years...

like RIDICULOUSLY slow. It's almost as if the kicking is on rookie. Sad thing about it there's still lag hiccups...on one kick i thought i hit X when it was at 100 only to have the lag prevent it from registering which resulted in a 20% powered kick. It was funny though.

wow dude, i REALLY liked the kicking game this year. sadly enough it was my favorite thing about madden in terms of improvement. since nothing improved, at least kicking field goals was kinda scary now just like in the nfl...sometimes you just shank a ball. granted it was a lag glitch, but it at least made the game more interesting for me. so the only improvement made to the game this year, has now been nerfed as well lol. son of a bitch...i'd say locomotion was an improvement but it was already in 03-05 ps2 consoles, and in the next gens it actually impairs reaction times.

how bout zone d? anything noticeable or the same ol? i'm stuck at work til 5 so i'm just lookin around the forums now to get some info.
