while the colts are 5-0, each win has been anything but convincing. in last weeks game versus the chiefs indy nearly squandered a 20-3 lead in the fourth while narrowly escaping a defensive battle in week 4's match up with the division rival jaguars. rivers has already throw 7 int's where the ball wasn't even close to his intended receiver while ryan grant as yet to prove himself the consistent power back the colts were hoping for.

its still early in the season, and although the veterans on offense have yet to find their rhythm...the defense for indy has really been the ultimate factor with creating turnovers and essentially putting the colts in a position to win. maulauga's key strip on reggie bush in week 2 as he was going in for a game clinching td helped aid the colts back to live as rivers led his team to a 20-17 overtime comeback. indy certainly has potential, but to be successful in the playoffs this year the offense really needs to find its niche.

key colts players through week 5:

offense: anquan boldin - 25 reception, 373 rec yds and 4 td's don't speak enough about his clutch catching and ability to shred coverage.

defense: chris houston - when asked to cover some of the best wr's in the game, hes come up big with 3 picks this season
stephen tulloch - as expected, this lb has been over the field bringing in 16 tackles and 2 int's
