5-1 Dallas Cowboys vs. 4-2 Philadelphia Eagles




Week 8 we have a very heated division rivalry as the Game of the Week, the 5-1 Dallas Cowboys look to take on their division rival 4-2 Philadelphia Eagles Both these teams have been ranked in the top 10 power rankings. Both have very defensive minded times as the Cowboys are only allowing 15.8 ppg and Eagles allowing 17.4 ppg. The Eagles are lead be one of the most explosive running backs in the league Chris Johnson. Johnson is coming off of injury this week and looks to have a huge game! The Cowboys have a very young team and QB C.McCoy looks to lead this team to another dominating victory as they have had in past weeks. The Eagles how ever are 0-2 at home and 1-1 in the division. This will be the cowboys 2nd game in the division as they beat the Redskins in week 3. Cowboys are 2-1 on the road and hope to hold off the Eagles on the road

Eagles Keys To Victory:
1) Chris Johnson needs to have a big game! The Cowboys are ranked second in run defense only give up 373 yards on the ground this season and are determined to stop the run
2) Limit the Big Plays! The Cowboys are very young and anyone of their players can explode at any given time
3) Control The Cowboys Passing Game! With WR D.Bryant Rookie WR A.Green and TE T.Moeaki you never know who Colt will pass to
4) Do NOT let Rookie RB S.Ridely get going. This kid is in the running for rookie of the year as he is 5th in the league in rushing on only 77 attempts! The four guys in front of him all have over 30 more carries than him with only 150 more yards

Cowboys Keys To Victory:
1) Stop Chris Johnson! Chris Johnson is 7th in the league in rushing with 648 yards on 90 attempts and he missed some games with injury
2) Stop TE J.Gresham! He is 3rd in the league in TEs for yards and he is fast! He is Rookie QB R.Mallets favorite target
3) Contain Rookie ROLB V.Miller! He is the Eagles leading tackler and sacks leader as he is 5th in the league with 6 and is in the running for Defensive Rookie of the Year
4) Keep the D up! as long as this team can contain Gresham and Johnson they should win if everything holds well. Their offense will score with all the weapons

As Long as the Cowboys keep doing what they have been doing and hold RB C.Johnson they should cruise to a victory

Cowboys take this one. Good young talent at WR and TE for Eagles but if they focus on Chris Johnson too much, Gresham should have a field day.

Very good write up BUT im not a huge fan of the score lol even if u do win, it wont be by that margin
