1-0 New York Jets VS. 0-1 Miami Dolphins



A great division battle for the game of the week this week. The Division leading New York Jets take on the 0-1 Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins were upset in week one and are looking to rebound in a great division win versus the Jets. Even though the Dolphins are 0-1 they are the favorite going into this game as they finished last season 2nd overall in the power rankings. But if the Jets can have another great day on D this week they may upset the Dolphins and show they are a team to be reckoned with.


Jets keys to victory:
1) LOLB S.Phillps needs to duplicate his last performance. Last week Phillps had 6 sacks and 7 total tackles. If he has another dominating performance. They may upset the Dolphins
2) Manage your time. The Jets rookie QB is out with a broken collarbone so with backup QB D.Mcnabb they cant afford any mistakes.
3) Stop RB MJB. The Dolphins have a great 1-2 punch at RB and will go to that in the clutch.

Dolphins Keys To Victory:
1)Run the ball. This team is good at stopping the run so if you get past that, your in the money for this game
2) Stop the Run. This game will be won in the trenches. IF you can get to the QB and slow down the run you will be good.
3) FS N.Collins needs to lead this team. He is the best player on this team and needs to show what a veteran he is and take over this game.

My Predictions:
I believe if the Jets had their Rookie QB this would be a much tighter game but with Veteran McNabb taking the snaps I don't think he will be much of a threat. The Dolphins should dominate this game with their 1-2 punch at RB MJD and P.Hillis.
