Week 9 Power Rankings

There was a lot of movement over the past three weeks of the power rankings. 4 teams fell out of the top 10. Of the remaining 6 teams all but 1 lost in week 9. We also have a NEW #1 team!! Also the only undefeated team LOST! I want to thank everyone for all the views on the Week 6 power rankings. I want to make this league great and show how committed everyone is. Feel free to leave comments and criticism, You telling me I am wrong won’t stop me from posting. Once again thank you for reading!!

1 (+4) Carolina Panthers 7-1   The only team that did not loss in week 9 and one of two teams that still only have one loss on their record and that coming to a top 10 team. With the #5 ranked defense the Panthers have shown they will stop you with their D. Lead by RE JJ watt and DPOY candidate MLB CJ Mosley. The Panthers show why they are the NEW #1 team.

2 (-1) Oakland Raiders 7-1 The Raiders fall one spot due to a crushing loss to the Steelers last week putting an end to their perfect season. Even though they lost they still have the league #1 offense lead by MVP candidate QB D.Carr. Also RE K.Mack broke the single season sack record last week! That is just amazing!

3( -1) Seattle Seahawks 6-2 The Seahawks also fell this week after a loss in week 8 to the up and coming Cowboys finding them selves at the #3 spot. They had a bye week in week 9 which kept them in the top 3. Lead bye the #2 defense in the league the Seahawks show they are one of the toughest teams to score on in the league. Leading the league in INTS by NFC DPOY candidate MLB L.Kuechly, you better watch out as they have the best Linebacking core in the league.


4(--) New York Giants 7-2  Even though they lost last week to the Buccaneers the Giants find them selves still at the #4 spot as they are one of only 3 teams to have 7 wins this season. They have the #5 offense in the league, lead by NFC OPOY candidate QB L.Thomas & RB T.Coleman. Having two guys in the running for that award is pretty amazing.

5 (-2) Cleveland Browns 6-3  The Browns find them selves as falling the most due to loosing 2 of their last 3 games! Coming off a loss to division rival Bengals last week and they play the giant killer Steelers in week 10, it will be tough road for the Browns to show they are still a top 5 team in this league.


6 (--)Atlanta Falcons 6-3   The Falcons show that they do not move at all due to a SIM loss last week. They still have the #2 offense in the league lead by MVP candidate QB T.Brady the falcons are no joke. They have a with their BYE being in week 10 the Falcons have a tough schedule coming up as they still need to play #1 Panthers two times this year.

7 (--) Miami Dolphins 5-3  The Dolphins are one of 4 new teams to make the top 10 this week. The Dolphins are my sleeper pick team to watch out for in the playoffs as they have the #1 defense and defense wins Super Bowls. Even though they lost last week, they have only given up 20 points in the last 3 weeks including 2 shut outs! Watch out for this team.

8(--) Dallas Cowboys 5-3 Now the Cowboys do not put up impressive numbers but in standard Dallas fashion, they just win games! They also find themselves with one of the tougher schedules in the league. But when you have QB A.Rodgers as your QB that is always a warming feeling.

9 (--) Cincinnati Bengals 5-3   The Bengals are also another team that find them selves in the top 10 with a division opponent. On a four game win streak, beat 2 over the top 10 teams and knocking off forming #10 team the giant killer Steelers the Bengals could be heating up at the right time and the playoff race is starting.

10 (--) New York Jets 5-3 Last but certainly not least, we have the J E T S, JETS, JETS, JETS. With the #4 defense in the league the jets hold down the #10 spot. With AFC OPOY candidate HB D.Murray and that defense they have a good mix of ground and pound style they are known for.  Lead by rooking QB B.Petty running the ship for the Jets we will have to see if they can move up in the top 10.
