wr's in the run game

we all know that motioning a wr left or right can tell u man or zone. lets be honest here, thats very juvenile and a huge rookie mistake. this video demonstrates part of my offense which is out of the single back. i like being able to run and pass without giving away what i am doing. this alows me to audible in and out of runs and make adjustments to maximize my run game. i dont run just to run. im a 60-70%er meaning i pass way more than i run. running for balance has its perks.

yeah the instrumental is kool. gives it a good feel

that last play what D formation was that and what play was it. It says 2man under but both DEs or LBs looked to be droping back into a zone

I'm not sure right now...looked like man under to me

do u see the 2 inside guys drop back but the outside guys blitzed it was a large reason why the run was so successful

good philosphy and well designed plays - but with the exception of 1 3-4 defense, most of those run pplays were run vs some sort of NICKEL defense - footbal fundementals say that a strong run formation (a formation with 2 extra blockers other tham the 5 Olinemen - could be 1 TE and 1 FB - Full house backfield or in this case a double TE set) - these formations should behave the advanateg when running the ball vs NICKEL defense...


although you make a good point - being able to run or pass out of the same formatuion is hugely valueable - Many of my formation are OBVIOUS runs or OBVIOUS pass - having the defense play honest certainly has its advanatge and i should look for ways to run theball from my pass heavy formations and pass the ball from my run heavy formations more

yea this^^^^ is the point of the video. u can have a run game from passing sets to make your opponent play defense and with reading coverage to determine where the pressure, if any is coming, u can either run away from pressure and find the soft spot in the defense OR make audibles if needed for the pass game.
